A sought-after speaker, facilitator, and educator, Alycia has developed nationally recognized programs and delivered presentations across academic, corporate, and community platforms. Her professional and speaking experience includes Fortune 500 companies such as Merck & Co., Colgate-Palmolive, Netflix, and Verizon; academic institutions including Columbia University, New York University (NYU), Fordham University School of Law, and Rutgers Law School; and organizations such as Street Law, Inc., Children's Rights, the International Summit of Youth in Care, Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ), and the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP). Alycia's personal story has profoundly shaped the person she is today. Raised in the New York City foster care system, her early years were marked by homelessness, special education, abuse, and involvement with the juvenile justice system. Those experiences did not define her. They strengthened her discipline, sharpened her decision-making, and shaped the principles that continue to guide her life and work.

Her legal career began at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, where she was mentored by Sonia Sotomayor. She later became the first Fordham University School of Law graduate to serve as a Graduate Clinical Teaching Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center, where she also served as a Summer Law Professor. Her distinguished career includes faculty and leadership roles at Rutgers Law School, service as a New Jersey Public Defender and Law Guardian, and partnering with Street Law, Inc. to empower corporate leaders through community-based legal education.

Today, Alycia serves as Emerging Technology Counsel at Verizon, where she works at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, legal technology, and innovation. She advises on complex legal, regulatory, and governance matters while supporting strategic technology initiatives across the enterprise.

Alycia is deeply committed to nonprofit leadership and public service. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Prevent Child Abuse New Jersey, where she chairs the Board Development Committee, and on the Board of Directors of NJ 211. She is also the Founder and Spokesperson of Fostering Futures USA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young adults transition successfully from foster care to independent adulthood, and serves on the Lawyers Council for Family Legal Care.

Her previous leadership service includes the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges, the Leadership Circle of Street Law, Inc., and the Gala Committee for the New Jersey Law and Education Empowerment Project (NJ LEEP). Across these roles, she has contributed to governance, strategic planning, organizational development, fundraising, and expanding access to education, legal services, and opportunities for underserved communities.

Alycia's academic achievements reflect her lifelong commitment to learning and excellence. She earned an A.A. from Westchester Community College, a B.S. with honors from New York University, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, an LL.M. with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center, and an MBA, cum laude, from Strayer University.

Alycia’s mission is clear: to help individuals and organizations operate with truth, discipline, and intention—building results that are not only achieved, but sustained. Her career reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence, public service, and creating meaningful impact.

Her forthcoming book, SOLVED: Choose Yourself, Own Your Identity, and Live Without Apology, is a powerful blend of memoir, strategy, and her proprietary SOLVED System™. Drawing on the experiences, ideas, and principles that have shaped her life and work, the book explores the relationship between identity, personal responsibility, resilience, and the choices that shape our lives. Scheduled for release in Fall 2026, SOLVED provides a practical framework for disciplined decision-making and personal mastery, extending Alycia's work to a broader audience ready to do the work and live the truth.
