Alycia Michelle Guichard is the founder of AMG EmPowers, a strategy and execution firm focused on helping individuals and organizations operate with clarity, structure, and discipline.
Her work is grounded in a simple but powerful truth: success is not driven by ideas alone, but by the ability to align decisions, priorities, and execution in a consistent, disciplined way. Through her proprietary SOLVED System™, Alycia equips clients to eliminate internal conflict, strengthen decision-making, and turn intention into measurable results.
Empowerment, in her work, is not a concept—it is the outcome of clarity, structure, and disciplined execution.
A nationally recognized strategist, award-winning attorney, accomplished entrepreneur, and passionate pro bono advocate, Alycia is known for bringing precision, accountability, and real-world application to every environment she enters. She works across individuals, teams, and institutions to transform purpose into performance—and effort into results.
A sought-after speaker, facilitator, and educator, Alycia has developed nationally recognized programs and delivered impactful presentations across academic, corporate, and community platforms. Her client and speaking list includes Fortune 500 companies such as Merck & Co., Colgate-Palmolive, Netflix, and Verizon; academic institutions including Columbia University, New York University (NYU), Fordham University School of Law, and Rutgers Law School; and organizations and conferences such as Street Law, Inc., Children’s Rights Organization, the International Summit of Youth in Care, Volunteer Lawyers for Justice (VLJ), and the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP). This list is not exhaustive—Alycia has contributed to numerous additional platforms, panels, institutions, and private engagements nationwide.
Alycia’s personal story is a living example of the principles she teaches. Raised in the New York City foster care system, her early years were marked by homelessness, special education, abuse, and involvement with the juvenile justice system. These experiences did not define her—they informed her discipline, sharpened her decision-making, and shaped her commitment to helping others operate with clarity, resilience, and accountability.
Her legal career began at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, where she was mentored by Sonia Sotomayor. She later became the first Fordham University School of Law graduate to serve as a Graduate Clinical Teaching Fellow at Georgetown University Law Center, where she also served as a Summer Law Professor. Her distinguished service includes faculty and leadership roles at Rutgers Law School, serving as a New Jersey Public Defender and Law Guardian, and partnering with Street Law, Inc. to empower corporate leaders through community-based legal education.
Currently, Alycia serves as Emerging Technology Counsel at a Fortune 30 telecommunications leader, working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and innovation. She navigates complex legal and regulatory environments and drives cross-functional impact across policy, responsible business, legal, and security teams.
Alycia’s academic achievements reflect her disciplined pursuit of excellence: an A.A. from Westchester Community College; a B.S. with honors from New York University; a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law; an LL.M. with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center; and an MBA, cum laude, from Strayer University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Innovation and Leadership.
In 2025, Alycia received NYU’s Dr. Dorothy Height Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award and delivered the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development Commencement address at Radio City Music Hall—a milestone in a career built on vision, resilience, and impact. She has been consistently honored for her leadership across legal, academic, and corporate spheres, her advocacy for underserved communities, and her commitment to driving measurable change. In 2022, she was honored by Children’s Rights with the Corporate Philanthropy & Leadership Award, recognizing her contributions to advocacy and her impact on behalf of children and communities. Alycia’s mission is clear: to help individuals and organizations operate with truth, discipline, and intention—building results that are not only achieved, but sustained.
Her forthcoming book, Solved: How to Choose Yourself, Own Your Identity, and Live Without Apology, is a powerful blend of memoir, strategy, and her proprietary SOLVED System™. Scheduled for release in Fall 2026, it delivers a structured blueprint for decision-making, resilience, and personal mastery—extending her work to a broader audience ready to do the work and live the truth.
